Global Mission Scholarship at Samford University
Through mentoring, peer discussions and cross-cultural immersion, this
program assists students in achieving a balanced approach toward
preparation for a vocation in missions.  To apply on line and for further information visit:

Christian Leaders of the Future Scholarship  The application process requires the thoughtful response to seven key questions about the student's Christian faith and practice. Applications, with the 7 questions, have been distributed to seniors in their Religion class.  Two Christian Leaders that are selected will receive $1000 scholarships.  E-mail your responses, using 12 point Times New Roman font, as an attachment to Carol@MetroChristianLiving.com.  Deadline is December 7, 2012.  For further information call:  601-790-9076.

2013 John F. Kennedy Profile is Courage Essay Contest
The JFK Library Foundation invites US high School students to write an essay on an act of political courage by a US elected official who served during or after 1956.  For contest information, registration, and to submit your essay, visit the Profile in Courage Essay Contest at www.jfklibrary.org. First Place Winner receives $10,000.  Second Place winner receives $1,000.  Up to five finalists receive $500 each. Deadline for submission is January 5, 2013.

Ole Miss Luckyday Scholarship Program
In addition to scholarship, the Luckyday program provides a support system to assist you in the completion of your degree.  Requirements include: enrollment as a University of MS freshman; meet MS residency requirement; score 20 or higher on the ACT; have a GPA of 3.2 or higher (on a 4 pt. scale); have remaining financial need after awarding of other scholarships and grant; meet all application priority deadlines.
